Eastern wood-pewee

I find wood-pewees difficult to distinguish in the field from a half-dozen other small grayish birds, but this one was singing so loudly that there could be no doubt. I heard his song first and spent a long time standing on the side of the trail, scanning the treetops dumbly, before realizing that he was more or less right in front of my face. He was seemed awfully downy for an adult - maybe a recent fledgling.
